I hate betting half pot on turn just looks weak,

[/ QUOTE ]

well clearly, it was supposed to induce this raise with a range wide enough to make the 3bet profitable

i doubt hes raising with any one pair hands here. I think hes either raising air, or something he will call this shove with. I would rather check raise here as a bluff. what hands do you want him to fold? you have to be putting him on something that he can let go, no? the way you said it you can easily have the best hand here. I just dont like it

hes not a great player, and hes overly aggressive, you dont think he ever says hey look at that weak ass bet, let me raise it up with AK and then craps his pants?

This is pretty bad if villain has half a brain. He can`t even reasonably put you on a draw, so why would he raise AK here?

nah I think its way too much of a generalization/exaggeration. He may like his hand/be protecting against what he thinks is a weak hand or drawing hand, but to say hes only raising to 138 because hes calling a shove for ~800 everytime is redic.

Totally. This all in bluff is ridiculous. You just got raised when an ace came out and then you push all in hoping that he will fold?-after he called your all in bet on the ace high flop with a pair of queens? This play is out of the question. It's not even close.
