Dental work is not generally covered under the Canadian health care system. Insurance plans I've seen generally max out around $1-2k per year, so if you had 100% paid for, it must not have been too expensive.

Congrats on having good teeth. Keep them that way, or you'll wind up screwed like me.

The only country I've found so far with free dental care is Cuba.

yea my dad has full coverage for being in the VFF so my 4000$ braces when i was 12 only cost 2000$, but everything else is covered completely like regular cleanings/fillings/wisdom teeth and maybe even crowns and root canals.
