Car shouldn't make a difference I agree...I was just kind of shocked.

Usually delivery guys are paid minimum wage and the employer can't afford to pay them more but this time it was the owner doing his own delivery and obviously he ain't doing too bad for himself delivering in a BMW.

I still tipped him 20% in the end and now I get free samosas whenever I order [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

generally speaking you have a point. for take out i think the bill would be so little im not sure there is much manipulation of the tip range.

i think the point that people are missing is that it was the owner who delivered the food, not the delivery person.
