Of course not. The notion of chopping off rights is just very disturbing to me. There is nothing in the Bill of Rights I find particularly troubling anyway.

Forget the second amendment; there's no reason to outlaw guns regardless of the bill of rights.
I'm in favor of keeping the second amendment because it's one of the few obstacles to the authoritarian regime the US is trying to become. But I don't consider any document to be some holy text beyond criticism. |
