I'm not giving up yet. You have an overpair and position. Sure, UTG may have 88, but maybe he's just overplaying 99 or flush draw. I call down one bet on each street as long as the board doesn't get a lot more scary.

I would definitely call the turn for 1, unless a heart falls, and fold to 2. Same on the river, even if a heart falls.
Then again, if it were me, it wouldn't really matter: I call down, he picks up the pot with 88. I fold, he shows 96o, and I feel like a nit. That's poker.... [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
