Sounds like a fun event!

You missed the boat on one good tie in between the game and the draft tho. Raise the levels every time a pick is made

And when teams AREN'T making deals, you've tripled the blinds in 30 minutes.

[/ QUOTE ]

Wasn't he using 15 minute levels anyway? Just deal faster!

Actually, the reason for changing time frame was because the last two guys were very affraid to bet any amount of chips into the pot and the natives were very restless to play again.

take it the $3 add on was a one-time only, must-do-before-start add on with no rebuys? Not sure what the point of that structure is... I must be missing multiple add-ons or something.

[/ QUOTE ]
No multi adds and no rebuys, I'm slowly trying to get these guys use to a higher structure. It will take time, these guys are very frugal. Yeah, I know frugal and gambling don't mix!!

[ QUOTE ]
You change the round length to make it a push fest and get on to the next tourney?

[/ QUOTE ]
Yes, exactly!

Your analysis of the first hand was right-on Larry. Both players in the hand are very LAG, the villian was dazed and confused afterward, hero was screaming to "not pair the board!!".

[ QUOTE ]
Someone doesn't understand how to play TPo4.

[/ QUOTE ]
Lost me on that one Larry? What is TPo4?

[ QUOTE ]
What the hell's with the min raise preflop from early position? Do you do that a lot? I also don't know if I like the river bet of T500- were the blinds high enough that this looked like a suck-in bet? He thinks you caught the river?

[/ QUOTE ]
I didn't raise pre-flop, I just called from the button with suited J4. The river bet was only a feeler/terrible value bet, I knew he didn't have it And yes, he thought an awful lot about the river card. Like I said, if he would have raised pre-flop, I would have dumped it.

[ QUOTE ]
Would you have called a turn bet from villan? THAT is where he screwed up.

[/ QUOTE ]
Turn or pre-flop I wasn't calling any raise or any big bet, and yes, his biggest mistake was checking the turn.

Thanks for comments Larry, always good to get your opinion.
