I called, I won. He had AJ. I did however agonize over the call a tad since I thought he had 55 from the start of the hand. Probly seeing monsters to some degree. It was confusing as hell cuz I don't understand wtf he'd push AJ there for. It seemed retarded. And I was tired when I posted the hand, like the edit says, it was standard.

What is the purpose of your mini raise preflop? To build a pot with your 33? For me, the only options here are to just smooth call, or to raise to 10-12 to try and take the pot there.

You misread, it's 100NL. My raise is exactly where you are suggesting if it were 200NL (as I'm assuming you read it).

eh, obvious call? he put you on overpairs and hit trips. i would play it the same as him, hoping you can't fold overpairs.

I would think so! Although I would have raised it like either 3 or 4 bb a mini raises is just stupid.
