Great TR. Where are you from originally? Also, is that a whaleshark in the aquarium picture? With some remoras on it? I saw a whaleshark while i was diving in Baja California Sur and it was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. Those guys are HUGE!

My parents are Japanese, but I was born in the US, moved to Germany when I was four and went to Japanese elementary school and junior high there. After that, I went to high school in Japan for 3 years and moved back to the US to go to college/university.

I guess it is. I didn't know until I did a quick reserch .

By the way, the aquarium had a BIG tank.

I really don't have many pictures of her. She's either wearing a pair of sunglasses or facing the wrong direction. I usually don't take that many "normal" tourist type pictures where people are standing "normally" and looking into the camera with smile on their faces. Nothing wrong with it. I just don't take those that many. That's all.

Nice pictures and trip report... I had thoughts that Okinawa was on the warmer/hot side.
