I would bet more or on the flop, maybe $4. As played, it's either a shove or a fold imo.

grunch:

A. More preflop IMO...being OOP is a pain in the ...
B. BB here can have anything. i think it likely if he has you crushed on the flop(a set) that he would slowplay it, and im either shoving or folding the flop because calling just gives a free card oop and if you think you are ahead(the only reason y you would call) then just stick all the/ $ in. if you dont, then fold. in my experience your ak is most often the best hand here, so shove it allin on the flop and dont give him any free cards.

I agree with most -

Bet more on flop - close to full pot. This is a fairly drawy board.

Let's think about what BB could have:

(1) he flat-calls a raise preflop. this -should- get rid of most of the crazy 2-pair combos (K5,K7,85). Any set is very possible - 55,77. He could also have something like Axs which hit a pair, KQ, KJ, -maybe- even AA

Here's what pokertracker says:
AK - 60%
vs
AA,77,55,AhQh,Ah7h,Ah5h,KJs+,KJo - 40%

EVEN against just a range of 77,55,KQ, we're still ahead about 60/40.

If we include a range of 77,55,Axs+pair, it's almost 50/50.

Conclusion? Unless we can put villain squarely on a set, we have to just get it all in here.

Bet pot on the flop, take it to the felt.

That's a big raise on the flop, so without reads im folding here. I wonder why everyone is recommending felting this, when every other thread is full of comments about "donks who cant fold TPTK"?

You should shove flop against most players here especially at 25nl. The only way I could fold the flop here is if the villain was a passive nit.

Raise to $1.75 PF. Fold or push the flop. If this is the villains first hand at the table, I don't have a problem pushing.
