he can be valueshoving 98 here right? i dont know if i can fold this , he took a really weird line. why would he not raise the turn with a straight?

[/ QUOTE ]

its true he could also be value shoving JT, T7, 66, 88, KQ. he could also have K8, Q8, air etc etc.
however, in my experience a massive overbet such as this is almost always the nuts, or pretty close. i very much doubt he is shoving a worse hand for value. its true that the villian has taken a weird line, but i think that he frequently shows up with JT, T7 or a set here, more than enough of the time to make this a fold.

The thing is, your either seeing a hand that has you beat (7T, QJ come to mind) or a bluff here, and I dont think he's bluffing enough here to justify a call.

I also like leading flop a lot here.

agree w all of this. your hand is a bluff catcher on the river.

i would lead the flop because there are many many hands he can raise you with to "protect" and also there are many semibluff hands.

No, you bet the flop and then see what happens. Maybe he makes a small raise; maybe he calls; maybe he folds. But that's a dangerous flop even though you've made K's up. Betting is good for many reasons.

J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] could be played like this if he's a donk.

T7 also makes alot of sense b/c he would've turned a double gutty.

If he already saw u calling a bluff earlier with a weak hand, he will definately think twice about bluffing you again because he knows u are cappable of making thin calls. He will most likely wait till he has a strong hand to play back at you and it seems like this is the case. Your hand is a bluff catcher in this spot, and you haven't put that much $ on the pot. I really like a fold here, I can see him having JT, T7 or maybe even QQ.
