I usually check call these flops now. I wouldn't cap the flop when 3-bet if I check raised in the first place.

i would do that if there was more action preflop (like we 3bet and he capped), but his range is wide ass open as is. it's a little too wide to forgo the value imo

I was trying to say is that if I 3-bet this guy, he's raising my flop lead a lot, or trying to take it away on the turn. 3-betting and then leading the flop forces me to play a huge pot with an often unimproved AJ, because I can't trust this guy enough to fold if he shows aggression. Me taking a passive line makes the hand easier to play. And if I show aggression and he has garbage, even this guy will toss it, so I'm giving him a chance to bluff.

I dont really get that, wouldnt it be better to calldown with AJ Ui in a huge Pot then in a tiny Pot?

Cant say much about Turn, of course the Q could have hit him but can also have other garbage, weak pps weak Js sixes weak fds id bet tough but i have alot learn

Well i'm more in favour of PF than most posters here. Sometimes 3betting PF causes villain to play well post flop i.e. they call or raise when they hit but fold when they have nothing. If villain is someone who will also mix in some some semi-bluffs or total bluff raises it can be difficult to play this hand well post flop. If hero calls PF villain is likely betting two streets with trash that might have folded to a PF 3 bet flop bet, and villain always has the option of raising post flop. Under representing his hand might also draw more bets post flop from villian. Of course it might just be the easy option.

Yes, assuming that this guy has the same range in the big pot as the small one. But I think his default play is betbetbet until I show aggression, so his range is much wider if I call PF rather than 3 bet.

I'd def. 3town preflop. I like postflop so far.
