Re: Cold calling A5s in a multiplayer pot
for the preflop, with one more cold caller are we good here for sure? Or is the cold call here that loose?

Re: Cold calling A5s in a multiplayer pot
i'm fine with preflop as long as you play well postflop.
not raising this flop is a pretty big mistake. cap the turn then worry about the river. |

Re: Cold calling A5s in a multiplayer pot
Fold preflop due to pf raiser being TAG and in UTG+1 position. Raise flop.
I'm not sure about the turn either. He could just have an overpair, or tips, and thinks you're betting the 9. Or he could think you're representing the flush and he's hoping a 3-bet will end the hand there. I'll be looking to see what others think for this street. |

Re: Cold calling A5s in a multiplayer pot
I don't like it.
PF is meh. I don't think that's the biggest mistake in the hand. I'm torn as to whether it's on the flop or on the turn. Either way, you should have raised the flop and capped the turn. If he leads into you again on the river, then I could just call, but you need to get more money in the pot with the nut flush. Expect to see an overpair with a heart a lot of the time. |

Re: Cold calling A5s in a multiplayer pot
Now that I read some other responses, I take back what I said about this not being an easy flop raise. This is The Easist Flop Raise Eever.
You are passing up too much value by not pushing your equity edge. And as I mentioned, getting a free card in a pot this size rox my jox. |

Re: Cold calling A5s in a multiplayer pot
Now that this string has pretty much run its course and I know how much I screwed up this hand, the villain had 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
