Well my bank charged me $15 for each of the 7 checks I deposited (all rejected of course).

So I write to Bodog and ask that they reimburse me. They tell me sure, they just need a fax of my bank statement.

I don't own a fax machine, but I'll be able to find one to use. I just don't understand how CS people can consistently make such bad business decisions.

I ask for a $17,500 cashout by check, and they decide to send it in SEVEN seperate checks. Now all 7 checks BOUNCE. They wanna hassle me over a measly $105? They want proof? But if I was a low limit hobbyist who was withdrawing $100 they would gladly cover my Western Union fees? Yeah, makes sense.

They make a lot of money of off rake and interest from my account. I have been a customer for over 7 years (back when it was just sportsbetting). I just don't understand why Bodog can't grasp the concept of trying keep good customers happy.

Earlier I asked to up my deposit limit and they came back with an email about all of this documentation I needed to sign and fax in. This despite the fact that I used to use their old instant online check system (with the same bank account). Why do they think everyone is a pencil pusher looking to fill out forms and use their new fax machine/scanner?

Maybe they want proof so people don't try to scam them.. who isn't going to want proof come on. I'm sure they will make good. As for not upping your deposit limits.. they don't want to get stuck with a 5k+ chargeback when people cancel the transactions before it comes out of their accounts when they blow the money in 5 minutes on a poker table.

Yeah, this is definitely what some bean counter over at Bodog is thinking.

Try to look at it like an actual businessman though. Let's say you own a business... You have a customer who has been with you for 7 years. You currently make tens of thousands of dollars of profit on an annual basis from this customer. He also keeps $35K on account with you, and you help yourself to the interest generated.

Now this customer asks for a check. After 20 business days (!!!), you send him 7 seperate checks. All of them bounce. Your customer tells you that his bank charged him $105. What do you do? This is not a trick question. The answer is not anything groudbreaking. I think it's pretty obvious.

Let's try again... I have been a customer for over 7 years. I had used their old instant check system for several years running, until they themselves removed the option. Now the option is back. You want them to investigate me like I am someone off the street???

I got the new check today from FedEx but my bank (US Bank) hasn't caught the bad one yet. Not sure if I should wait to cash this one or not.
