Re: If it wasn\'t for poker...
I wouldn't have built a sweet ass house
I wouldn't be buying a 06 Lexus IS 350 next month I wouldn't be able to go out all the time and spend money like its nothing I wouldn't have been to Vegas on 8 different trips I wouldn't be as outgoing and confident as I am now I wouldn't have as much free time to be able to just hang out and have fun I would possibly have figured out a nice business that I wanted to start and would be working 60-80 hours a week trying to get that off the ground I would probably more than likely though be working for my parents lucky to be making 40k this year |

Re: If it wasn\'t for poker...
I'd be broke.
I'd still be super cheap. I wouldn't have half the stuff I've bought. I'd be doing better in school. I wouldn't have let my life go downhill. I don't party near as much anymore and that really sucks and in general just spend way too much time on 2+2 and poker and other stuff. I know as long as I get those things sorted out, I'll def be much better off/happier than without poker. I guess it just comes down to balancing life. |

[/ QUOTE ] See, I'm a huge nerd, so I have the sick benefit of not liking partying too much to begin with. Before 2p2 I was engrossed in xbox games and pc golf design, before that i played tennis competitively. If I never found poker I probably would have lead a more normal life with better grades, but really unfulfilling in comparison. Also likely I would have more than just a handful of girlfriends, since poker (maybe, maybe not) has made me emotionless towards relationships. No longer do I feel obligated to chase or pursue random women. |

Re: If it wasn\'t for poker...
I wouldn't have been able to take a break from the 9-5 gig to grind my way through my morgage while watching Saved by the Bell and 24 repeats every morning.
I would have done a lot more camping and fly fishing when I was living in Montana. |

Re: If it wasn\'t for poker...
i wouldn't have been able to pay off an underage drinking three times, drunk in public two times, resisting arrest, assault of a police officer, fake ID, and a DUI, and would probably have had to quit college and get a full time job to pay it all off.
drink responsibly....and wait til your 21. |

Re: If it wasn\'t for poker...
It wouldn't be that much different for me, really. Poker is just another item in a long line of internet-related addictions for me. I'd be slightly poorer, but not significantly. I would be a somewhat more interesting person perhaps.

Re: If it wasn\'t for poker...
I would get more sleep. (huge)
I would still care about money. I wouldn't have paid more money to the IRS this year than the average american makes in a year. |
