[/ QUOTE ] <font color="white">Bare minimum length for this answer is that the strings are .205 meters long, or 20.5 cm. That would assume that the tip of the string would just magically stick to the tip of your finger, though; you'd need to add another little bit for the amount needed to grasp it, and add a little for the amount your wingspan shrinks when you are grabbing a string (realistically maybe 2-3cm at least, not sure how that changes the answer overall). Bottom line, it's conceivable the strings aren't long enough for this answer, I guess.</font> |

Why can't you just use the scissors as an extension to your hand and grab rope #1 with it. Then you can just hold that rope in one hand while you use the scissors as your hand extension to grab the other rope. What's the problem here? As the size of the sissors is not givven I'll just asume they are long enough to add the 5cm that you need. </font> |
