Big Al,

He's likely to have you on a fairly narrow range. He probably figured he could double through if he hit his set, so I would not count out 99/77. Play is also very consistent with TT-JJ, maybe QQ and he could be trapping with AA.

He just raised half his stack, so he's not folding. Obv, villian is good, but unless you can rule out specific holdings from the above range you are ahead and just need to get it in there.

As JARID points out he isn't folding to my re-raise with half his stack already in. He turns over 88 for the oesd and doesn't hit any of his 10 outs. Given the range I put him on a set seemed likely enough that I wanted to give my thought process a checkup and make sure I didn't just get lucky due to an inability to make a tough laydown. It sounds like the concensus agrees with the way I played it (that it's close, but I'm ahead enough that I need to get the chips in). Thanks for the checkup.
