gordon's LBB has its shortcomings which have been mentioned here (mostly that it has you hitting alot of big hands and not too many tougher decisions).
but he does go thru his thinking process alot, and the pre-flop is very useful... one i remember for sure is wanting to end hands quickly if out of position. and i remember thinking that if i bot this book (which i did), i would just take notes and get the recurring themes like that..... haven't taken the notes yet, but he does go back to probably 5-10 key principles over and over again. EDIT: i wish roy cooke's book was no-limit... maybe his next book will be. |

Roy Cook has been dabbling in N/L but I doubt he`d be authoring anything soon.
Also HOH111 is excellent for the thought processing |
