dont bet turn. fold river. dont think 15/7s are even capable of playing back and if he was he wouldnt do it like this.

Good point, he's much more likely to just c/r flop or something. And if he was floating, why not bet the river? I eventually decided to fold, I just couldn't see him betting so much without the boat. It sucked because of the way I played the hand though.

I bet turn for
#1 getting money in the pot
#2 better defining my players hand for better decision on river.

Don't listen to this your line is fine and your river value bet is good. It's a tought decision. If villain is a very good player I fold, if he's only kind of good then I call

Lets say he bets on the turn, and villian raises, that is an easier fold IMO then this happening on the river, also, if villian just calls you can check call the river which IMO is putting less money if you are beat.

We don't care about making the hand hand easier to play. We want to maximizze our e.v. This type of villain is rarely check-raising the river and rarely calling two barrels without the ace. Checking turn and vbing river gets lots more value from weaker hands and keeps us from getting c/r'ed by better hands on the turn. Honestly no need to bet the turn

Of course there is no need, Also is it impossible for villian to have a worse ace? Villian is in the BB afterall. Isnt a true NIT probably reraise a button steal with almost any decent hand, AJ, AQ, AK, and most PP dont you think? A nit would be happy with taking down the pot preflop rather then having to play OOP with a decent hand like AJ, or A10, 22-JJ, etc.

IMO Villian could put Hero on any PP including QQ/KK meaning that Hero bet the flop as a cbet, checked the turn, and bet the river with his PP for value.
