Very unprofessional of Youteller to put this on their site using "Netellers priority number one" as the name of the document.

[/ QUOTE ]

Any second of Neteller's time and resources not spent getting back their customers money is unprofessional.

I laughed at the URL. Not convinced Youteller is the solution to replace Neteller, but my anger at Neteller runs very deep.

[/ QUOTE ]

It takes a few hours of some senior executive's time at Neteller to instruct their counsel to prepare a cease and desist letter. Defending one's trademark is standard operating procedure. What you're suggesting is analogous to saying that Neteller shouldn't call in a plumber if their toilets overflow because they have too many other things to worry about.

Youteller is definitely not the solution, given that they decided to post this letter publicly with this title. Youteller will never get my business.

So, it is all Netellers fault and the DOJ has nothing to do with it????

[/ QUOTE ]

When was the "DOJ freezing the money" story ever confirmed anyways? I always thought it was total horse crap.

Did you ever bother reading Neteller's Press Release?

Or do you mean you think they invented the story and no one in the DOJ or anywhere else has refuted it for the past three weeks?

At this point in time I am not convinced of anything Neteller has said. Do you remember when they told PokerStars that they would give them 90 days notice before a pullout? 90 is about the same as 3 right? I suppose most of my feeling on it is my lack of trust for Neteller.

For a week after, people were using Neteller ATM to withdraw funds.

For weeks after, people were transferring to non-U.S. "friends" without issue.

I have an issue with the belief that all funds were frozen.

No kidding. This anger is seriously misdirected, even though Neteller's handling of the situation has been subpar at best.

Or do you mean that it was reported as such in a number of major newspapers, and that no one has bothered to correct the media?

Unfortunately, seems to be par for the online poker/gambling industry. Whenever bad news hits, they all clam up.

Notice how strikingly similar to the Apple website the layout/colors/text for the Youteller site is... Looks like depositing money in a poker site, feels like buying an Ipod.

I wouldn't be surprised if Apple threw in a trademark infringement notice as well, just for good measure. I don't think I can trust Youteller as far as I can throw a dollar bill, especially one seized by the DoJ.
