I HATE getting slowrolled but in this specific situation, temptation may get the better of me. I would probably have done the same thing you did

Wow, can't believe you had this good of a read on this guy. After six bets on the turn and river, no way do I agree to put my whole stack in with the third nuts. Villian must have been retarded.

Maybe you missed the part where we learned internet players can't lay down hands.

At this point, everyone, including the dealer, the players at the table, and the manager all give me a sympathetic look.

We also learned everyone at his club, including the dealer, the players at the table, and the manager all don't know that a flush is not the nuts with a pair on the board.

As soon as he said this, I put him on the nut flush, Kc Xc. Thats a pretty remarkable read considering the board does have a pair on it.

He smiles and says, "Go ahead and muck your three eights, I got the nuts." He said this with a board of 8c-Ac-8s-7c-2d?? Thats pretty bad. He had like the Seventh nut hand. 88 AA A8 87 77 22 all beat him.

At this point, everyone, including the dealer, the players at the table, and the manager all give me a sympathetic look. The dealer begins gathering all the chips into the center getting ready to push villian the pot when I say, 'Wait." I begin laughing out loud and the villian puts his hand on my shoulder and says "Sorry Son." and without missing a beat, I say, "Me too, I turned the full house."

Thats pretty bad that people at the table actually thought a flush would take it down after all that action with a paired board.

The manager, who was still standing there steps in front of him and tells him to gather his things.

For knocking over his chair??

Good story.

I'm not trying to tell tall tales here, things happened as they did. I had already said that when he make the 'internet kids' remark my pride/ego was a little hurt as he apparently had no respect for my play. I was playing casually so would not be totally upset if he got the best of me.

I'm sure many people here have faced opponents who will do anything to try and bust you, I'm assuming this was one of those cases, though extreme.

Next time I'll keep my small moments of triumph to myself.

Dude,

I have seen stupid people at casinos, I still marvel over it.

It amazes me that a guy would give that much action with a flush on a paired board. Not saying I do not believe you.
