Thanks Blue. You've been very generous to this forum, and have impacted many people in countless ways.

life takes its turns, and our only chance of success (in a real sense) seems to be how well we handle the sour ones. It is clear that you have an amazing ability to stand above the fray and keep your perspective on what is truly meaningful in life, and by this I am inspired. (cuz I still fall prey to middle-class-middle-aged-white-boy tantrums about how my latte is not strong enough, and crap like that)

good luck, blue.
we look forward to your return someday soon.

I feel sad to hear your story, Dave, I know how bad things can get with though financial demands.

You sound like a very nice dad, and from the mails/IMs I've received from you during the coaching I know that you're a good guy in general as well as a good player. You've also been an excellent mod for this forum.

I really wish you the best in the future

Blue,

Your girls are lucky to have a dad like you. I grew up with just my mom so I know first hand what it means to have a parent that's willing to sacrifice their time, money, and social life so that their kids have what they need. It's really a huge deal, so you should feel really proud about that.

I'm sorry to hear about the other things you talked about, but it sounds like you have a good plan to get things back on the right track, so that's good. Best of luck there.

It's been an absolute pleasure message boarding with you. We played the mid stakes on Stars together for a long time and I know I got a lot out of what you had to say about poker and SNGs. You'll definitely be missed on here as a poster and as a mod.

Take care and good luck and like others have said, don't be a stranger on AIM.

We've talked & you know how I feel. Dave is an awesome father & man. I know you are leaving but it's far from goodbye.

Sucks to see you go bluefeet, you're obviously a great guy and a great Dad and with your attitude I wouldn't be surprised to see you beat this part of your life for at least 15% ROI. Good luck man.
