No real details but I'm sure it's true as it was confirmed by a floor that was playing off duty at my table. And since I'm in gossip mode, I heard that a gal who has won a seat into last week's $1k satellite for the Shooting Star, sold her ticket for $700.00 to a friend and also tried to get a seat card with a duplicate ticket. Bay is supposedly pressing charges and working to ban her from all CA cardrooms.

hahha, Ive heard about this. Pat was banned from GC because he was buying ten tickets at a time for tourneys then selling and making a deal getting something like 5% if they won any money. The lady youre talking about is Beth. Shes a really wild loose player that wouldnt surprise me if she did this because she needed the money. Borrows money often, but never really wins and is then unable to pay back loans. She sold something like 5 $1000 seats for $700, total of like $3500.00 to a guy named "Ace." Hes a nice older guy, little on the heavy side.

That sounds about right. GC has been consistently selling out their weekday tourneys because Bay was only running sats to WPT. I once mentioned to Jesse, GC's TD, that I should buy an extra tourney ticket and scalp it to pay for my rebuy. He said if he caught me doing that, he'd eject me from the tourney. Guess he was serious.

This guy is classic, which if its the same guy and I presume it is also plays at Lucky chances and Artichokes. From what I've heard he loves the horses. Have never seen him do anything in either of the weekly tourneys. I have seen him rebuy 20 times in the first hour at Artichokes Sunday tourney. To break even you have to place somewhere in the top 4 or 5.
