I love how those who have never seen anything like the PPL play out before have stated how bad a concept it was.
I personally would have loved to see this show happen, but I don't hold out any hope at this point.

A couple of friends and I played at the initial tournament at The Venetian when the pros were pimping the PPL - it was called the 'Dethrone the Kings and Queens' of poker event, and it followed the PPL draft. The pros at my table - especially Ted Forrest - were very, very excited about this and thought the structure was fantastic. I was excited about it, too, because I felt like I was kind of there when it started ... or at least more so than other TV poker events. It's not going to happen, I guess, but there was so much excitement about it that Saturday in October that I'm curious as to why it's not going to go down.

Can anyone tell me when Season 5 for tge WPT will air? I been to the WPT web site but couldn't find any information.
