i don't think it has really affected it at all. even before poker, i never really wanted to do anything.

Just the opposite, actually. My social life constantly gets in the way of playing poker. I'm at the point where the only thing I enjoy about playing poker is the money.

It involves a significant amount of effort to get myself motivated enough to log on and play poker.

It has in the past. I would frequently decline going out to play poker instead.

Now that I don't play much, it is an asset to my social life as it's yet another thing I can do with friends.

I just meant that I enjoy playing video games and they don't get boring after a few hours like just hanging out does.
