I used to do that often, but it does not seem to work. Strangely, Aces do not get pushed out of a pot easily when it is very probable they are way ahead...

You should realize that :

1) Money is way too shallow here.

2) If it was deeper, I think delaying your bluff would be much better.

3) Raising probable aces on such a board will very rarely fool any good player. I hope you would not seriously always raise pot with trips or a straight in that spot.

Well done to RoundTower

He thought, thought, thought, thought, thought and called.

With QJT9ds. Well he has top wrap why not? Oh wait....

Turn was an offsuit 8

I still think that at it was a good bluffing board to scare anykind of AAxx hand and there are only a few ds rundowns that have me dead to rights. And to the people saying that he's getting 2:1 to call. EVERY pot sized bet in PLO is 2:1 to call.

Also its hurts alot more to have a bluff turn into a value bet and then sucked out on than it does if you get suckout on when calling

There is a big difference between a scary board and a board on which a pot raise all-in can make aces fold... The board is scary, but your raise is not.

I'd bluff here too against an opponet who's unlikely to have hit the flop and who's just make an over-large full-pot continuation bet. You're inviting your opponent to make another mistake by calling your raise. He might know you're stealing but if he's really got nothing, he can't call.

Oh sometimes they do anyway!:

Dealer: Hand #1501095367
Dealer: eidestein posts the small blind of $1
Dealer: Villain posts the big blind of $2
Dealer: You have been dealt [6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]]
Dealer: Hero calls $2
Dealer: ToledoRio calls $2
Dealer: Kanhai47 calls $2
Dealer: jonny12 folds
Dealer: eidestein calls $1
Dealer: Villain raises to $12
Dealer: Hero calls $10
Dealer: ToledoRio calls $10
Dealer: Kanhai47 folds
Dealer: eidestein folds
Dealer: The flop is [3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]]
Dealer: Villain bets $40
Dealer: Hero raises to $160
Dealer: ToledoRio folds
Dealer: Villain raises to $175.65, and is all in
Dealer: Hero calls $15.65
Dealer: Villain shows [J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]]
Dealer: Hero shows [6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]]
Dealer: The turn is [2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]]
Dealer: The river is [A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]]
Dealer: Villain shows a pair of Fours
Dealer: Hero shows two pair, Fours and Twos
Dealer: Hero wins the pot ($388.30) with two pair, Fours and
Twos
Dealer: Villain is sitting out
