How secure is John Fox in Carolina after the 2007 season?

[/ QUOTE ]

I have no idea, but I don't think the Steelers will drop whoever they sign after year no matter who is available.

The Steelers should go after Nick Saban. He'll leave any job if you add a few extra million to the pot.

My heart was always in pro-football. This will be my final job.

I was wondering whether Carolina could be where Cowher could end up since it's the NFL team closest to where he lives.

As a Steeler fan I would love to see Rivera

[/ QUOTE ]

If it's Rivera, their will be a lot of personnel changing to convert from a 3-4 to a Tampa 2 defense. Not that that's never been done before, but something to consider.

As a Bear fan I selfishly hope Rivera is snubbed a head coaching position again this year.

That's a possibility. He could also go to NC State.

Let's keep in mind that Cower cannot just take another coaching position in the next two or three years because of his contract. The teams will have to work a deal.

Hampton wouldn't convert well, but the Steelers could probably get a lot for him in a trade. Keisel would, Smith could probably play inside or outside in a 43. I think Ike and McFadden might do better in a cover 2 scheme.

Porter and Hagans are both 30 and entering the final year of their contracts. Farrior is on the decline too. There will be a lot of turnover in the Steeler's front 7 soon regardless of what system they employ.
