Favorite Comedians/Stand Up

Dane Cook is pretty good. I went out and bought his CD's on a friends recommendation, and enjoyed both of them a lot.

George Carlin has got to be one of the top guys doing it right now, if not the top. One of my best friends is like second cousins with him, and got us great seats and backstage passes to meet him. Really cool. Incredibly funny. I have about three or four Carlin DVDs, and I enjoy them all.

David Cross is good. Seinfeld is pretty good too, I have a CD of his standup which is good. I'm going to pickup a CD or two of his probably.

Yeah, but OP is looking for the top 3 ACTIVE comedians. Bill Hicks has been pretty inactive for a few years.

Eddie Murphy is the best ever. Delirious is probably the best stand-up special of all time. It's unfortunate he had such a short run as a pure "comic."



If you've ever seen some of his stuff at the Copa Cabana, it's ridiculously funny as well.
