Re: 19 years old, Neteller won\'t open my account
I had the same problem and I knew there had to be an easier way to do it. I took a picture of my SS card(front and back) and my ID with a digital camera and attached it to an e-mail file.
It took about three days but they did respond. I had to do some final verifications over the phone but everything went smoothly. |

Re: 19 years old, Neteller won\'t open my account
Is this a US only issue? I've had a Neteller account since I was 19 without any problems, haven't had to send in any scans whatsoever, just the usual phone calls when I access from an abroad IP etc.

[ QUOTE ]
I don't think they are "checking" your credit, but just filing away your soc. number just in case you run away with instacash. I opened my netteller back in 04 and whether or not I gave my soc. number is a good question... [/ QUOTE ] Neteller's policies clearly indicate that they may pull a credit report on you. They most definately confirm your personal information with varous other agencies... this is what makes them a secure eprocessor. |

Re: 19 years old, Neteller won\'t open my account
Yea, same happened to me(signed up on 18th bday)...simply sent in the SS card and in a couple days was good to go.
You people who are afraid to send in your SS are paranoid. |

Re: 19 years old, Neteller won\'t open my account
I've been using Neteller for a few months with a modified bday (I'm turning 18 in a few days...). Is there any way to change it to my real one or should I leave it as is (or create a new account maybe? That's not a scenario I like though).
Best way to go about this? EDIT: now that I think about it, this is an issue I'll have with all my accounts on poker sites. Stars has a "change birthday" option but others don't. Should I withdraw and then e-mail or just e-mail will be fine? Again, should I just keep the fake one? |

Re: 19 years old, Neteller won\'t open my account
why are you ok with giving them your ss # but not a picture of your card?
