Sir Win & Shaddux:

Why check this flop? Smaller PP call on these boards here all the time...esp if hero has been following up his PFR's with Cbets. I think we lose value by checking the flop here.

because I a lot of times I don't cbet this flop against a TAG if I have something like AJ.

Checking the flop isn't my standard move though.

There are no draws to protect from and checking gets value from JJ-33 which will often fold to a bet here and loses less to Qx.

Questions for you flop-checkers: If it's checked to you again on the turn, are you definitely betting pot size? Does that second check scream weakness to you, or are you worried about falling for a trap?
And if it's bet to you on the turn, how much are you calling for? JJ-33 could overbet and take the pot down right there.

they probably dont overbet. i call psb anyways since we induced a bluff...or they could have hit a small piece and think they are good

Yeah bet flop and check the turn, call river. Min raise on the turn has you crushed by your standard NL50 player.
