I might be very wrong here but shouldnt we/villain have atleast 20xBBs to call for set value?

I'm always lost with this...

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't think this is necessarily true. 20x seems a little high to me.

Yeah I think that's pretty standard. My question was more about limping TT really.

yeah but 99 has more then set value to it, you could flop an overpair. I think I'm folding 88 here.

You really fold 88 in this spot? Wow, I guess I'm a loose maniac donkey. I raise to 400 with 99 and probably call with 88. I would not even consider folding 66+ there.

or im a massive nit. I'm just trying to conserve as many chips for push/fold at this point. I just think 88 is not strong enough.

If you limp TT you'll be making money off me, because I'll assume my 88 is still good and push over you. On the other hand if I don't have 88 but QJo then you may have needlessly left me in the pot. And I think the latter situation would happen more than the former (though you'll make more money off me with my 88 than I'll make if I hit my QJ).

I think TT is too good a hand to want to play multiway. I'd raise from any position. Early position I'd raise 3xbb and fold to a push. Later position I'd raise 4-5BB and call a push.
