Bet between 120-150 on the flop and do the following;

UNIMPROVE TURN;

If button and SB call, I check-fold turn. I haven't lost much, I can move onto the next hand.

If button calls, SB folds, I follow up with a 1/2-2/3 pot size bet, then reasses for the river.

If SB calls and checks to me, I check behind.

I fold to any re-raises.

IMPROVE TURN:

No matter who calls, I bet 2/3 of the pot. If SB raises, I flat call. If B raises I reraise 2.5-3xhis raise. If reraised, well I really need a strong read to decide.

RIVER -

Pretty hard to say without being there, but something like this;

Roughly speaking, I check fold/check call unimproved 70/30.
Roughly speaking, if I improve, I check behind the SB alone, check to button if alone, and check if all of us are there, expecting a raise from the button. I flat call if SB calls, I fold if SB reraises, I reraise if SB folds.
If I improve on the river, maybe check raise, or play it quick with a 3/4 pot size reraise.

So many permutations. Phew!

there's about 250 in the pot. bet about 1/2 the pot as a c bet, or choose this hand to show that you aren't going to c bet every time you raise.

With the blinds this small and AQ, I would raise a little more preflop. Make it like 101.

On the flop, you have 2 callers, you missed the flop, the stakes are still small, and you don't have position. I would not cbet this. However, I might bluff checkraise or bet the turn unimproved, or I might just check/fold.

Pocket the $1s and then use them later as $10 freeroll at BJ FTW

I'm c-betting here alot of the time. It's early and I only have A-high so I'm happy to win this one right now. IMO this is a way to figure out where we are at in the hand.

If we check and button fires at the pot we are guessing at what he has. For me it's much easier to play this hand with a c-bet.

I realized when I re-read my post that I discounted the SB. I think I did this because you have stated him as tight/conservative. I'm expecting him to fold after checking here. I guess we will soon see what happened?
