c/r > bet > c/c [/ QUOTE ] Why do you want to c/r the flop? Do you want to represent a BB special, get UTG out, because we have the best hand or something else? Do you fold to a flop 3bet? Bet out a blank the turn if you get a caller/callers? I'm just curious as I'm not playing my OCs so aggressively against a pf raiser. |

[/ QUOTE ] i guess it depends on the villian. a c/r here does a couple things. i think a c/r does drive out UTG enough times to make it a profitable play. then it's down to HU and usually someone raising in a steal position has quite a wide range, and A,J COULD be the best hand. now considering an A fell on the turn, it's an easy bet/call. had the A not fell on the river, you can bet most lower cards and probably pick up the pot since K,Q, K,J and A,10 and lower are giving up on the turn most of the time. if you get played w/ on a non-A turn, then it might be time just to give up. A,Q and A,K usually are not folding in 1/2 games if they call the flop and turn. if you check the river and are facing a bet, then that's just a player judgment call. anyone wanna fix what i said wrong, or disagree w/ this line? btw, this isn't something to do 100% of the time, but i def. feel it's a winner in the long run and works enough times to make it profitable. |

I don't see the flop bet , but ok. I think you have to bet the river for possible value. You are calling a bet anyway.

I don't think so. Standard would be check call or fold on this board depending on reads. If villain is holding a PP then this is a loose (lucky) call.

Bet, call the river.
(I suppose we can't 3 bet pF because AJ sucks.) |
