Also, if quality beer is what you want, make sure to check out Papago Brewing Co. at Scottsdale Rd. & McDowell. No chicks to speak of, but 30 beers on tap and the worst one is Guinness. They have about 1000 in bottles too. I'm married, so this one usually gets my vote, but if I were a young single guy, I'd be hitting Tempe bars.

Old Chicago at Priest and Broadway has a nice selection as well, but the food is so so, and I have seen very little eye candy.

Lord, do I miss Timberwolf Pub.

Have you heard about the 'new' Yard House in Scottsdale? Check out their beer selection.

For traditional there's Durant's which hasn't changed EVER or maybe The Pink Pony in Scottsdale.

AMEN. I was devistated to find out Timberwolf was gone. Big ass beer night was awesome.

OP, just do Mill ave. It really doesn't get much better in AZ.

Sucks you have to be in Tucson for more than it takes to drive through.

Yes, I've been there. Nice atmosphere, nice beer, but the prices are a bit too high IMHO. I also tend to prefer something less "mall"-like. They do have half-yards, though, so that is a plus.

If your looking for women you want to go to Scottsdale or Mill Ave. They each have a "RA Sushi" restaurant which is solid. Try to hit PHX on the weekend.

Tucson is the ghetto.... GTF out of there and spend more time in PHX suburbia.

Let me know when you're in town if you wanna chill - I am 24, live near ASU. Mill Ave. (ASU) is pretty much the college scene, which is crazy - more upscale and slightly older crowd (more clubs) are in Scottsdale.
