I've played with him a handful of times and have seen some very very basic misplays. In the 200/400 game we were playing in I don't think he was a winner. For sure once the 'fish' he weakly played vs busted he wasn't.

Forget 2000/4000.

Of course that assumes you can make more doing than teaching, which is probably not true in David's case.

Wow.
This just seems so weird to me that I otherwise wouldn't even begin to believe it were it not coming from a poster like BK.

Is he just not aggressive enough in your opinion?
Is there any room for doubt that you might have been missing something??

He just doesnt play as much as all the big pros. So he doesnt have that level of focus and concentration as the people who play 10h every day. I m sure if he played in a game long enough he could eventually adjust and beat that game. He s just smarter than most poker players.

I believe he said on Poker Superstars II that if there was a poker decathlon he would be top 5 in the world.

I asked Lederer once on Tilt chat and he said Sklansky kills the mid/high limits but "lacks the imagination" needed for the higher games.
