Re: Bottom 2 pair on a big board
I did read some of those old threads. Here's a link to one:
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showfl...art=10&vc=1 In the thread there's a quiz with these 3 questions: 1) You have 7c 6c in the BB. Everyone folds to a 2+2er who open-raises on the Button. Folded to you. Call, fold or raise? 2) Same scenario as above except your hand is As 8d. Call, fold or raise? 3) Same as above except your hand is Ts 9c . Call, fold, or raise? The general consensus answers were: 1.Call 2.Raise 3.Call Very few people answered "fold" on any of those hands. It seems to me that QJo is at least better than T9o. |

[/ QUOTE ] That thread is about limit holdem, notice it is in the general Holdem forum. In NL all of those hands are folds in the blinds other than 67s which can be a raise sometimes depending on your read on button's stealing tendencies. Do try and find some of the SSNL threads (limit your search to that forum) because they will have better explanations of what hands to play against a steal than I can give. |

Re: Bottom 2 pair on a big board
fold preflop, if you're just looking for postflop advice, i wouldnt even raise the flop. my line is flat call flop and lead turn if its not an A, K, 10... then try to see a cheap showdown cuz the only thing you beat that villain does this with is AK imo
