so what you are saying is, party poker pretty much just freaked out over nothing and lost alot of us based customers? And yes my credit sucks and this was a lesson that I learned and hopefully in time I will be able to pay back all that is owed to the penny.

Hahahahahahaahhahahaha...

You must be very young and don't even know anything about credit history.

I don't, when it comes to financial matters, I am not the smartest. But you probably knew this already too. And I probably should've NEVER gotten in gambling/poker.

the legislation is basically now trying to tell Party and other sites that it is supposedly illegal for them to ACCEPT online wagers.
But even this aspect is debateable since they are overseas, there was a previous WTO ruling about this, etc.

The legislation does not make playing online-poker illegal.

Yes, some people think that Party very much over-reacted to the new legislation. But obviously Party wasn't alone in this and they may be more concerned about the fact that they're a publicly traded company.

You somehow think any of this might relate to relieving you of your debt which seems pretty silly to me.

I'm sure a site operator is just dying to tell you and others how to scam them. They are not going to throw you in jail, they will possibly get this on your credit report if you do not pay it. Simple as that. If the collection agency puts your bounced EFT's on your credit report it will make it difficult for you to obtain new credit and possibly affect your current credit limits and interest rates on existing credit cards if they pull your credit info.

Listen - You owe the money, you always will. At least until the SOL runs out. You have received everything you need to know in this thread. A debt is a debt, it does not matter that it is a gambling debt. An "industry" person will not be able to give you more info and most likely will be less than willing to help you.

But what is the ruling on this now that gambling is banned?

[/ QUOTE ]

This is pretty irrelevant. I would pay Bodog whatever you owe them. The Russian mafia maintains a presence in Costa Rica and a very large contingent in the US. These gentlemen will not just break your kneecaps, they have a reputation for applying pressure to family members.

As far as FirePay, tell them to pound sand up their ass for the money.
