you're going to have to be a genius to pull this off. and given that you took this bet i'm pretty sure you're not a genius.

you could just get a job that pays 75k+ a year?

[/ QUOTE ]

I took the bet because it's like a 10/20 nl player playing nl 25.

I also talked him into only making it 25k but over 9 months.

But I still really don't know where tos tart with sucha small start up capital...

I only really own one business and I didn't really work my way up with it, so I have no experience at this.

"I took the bet because it's like a 10/20 nl player playing nl 25."

So lets assume you are speaking of a 10/20NL player that is playing with a 20 buy in bankroll. 20 buy ins x $2000 = $40,000 and he drops down and plays stupid at $25NL..... No big deal it is only 1/1600th of his bankroll. Just like $50,000 is only 1/1600th of mike-oxbig's Net worth of $80,000,000.

No gambling at all is allowed.

[/ QUOTE ]

How are you defining gambling, then? Starting any business venture is a gamble. Stock investing is a gamble. Do you specifically mean "no casino games"?

haha sucker, you should read the 'no purchase necessary' clause...

then again, I doubt your pieces would arrive in the mail before the 9 month prop bet deadline.

Find a source for Playstation 3s, Wii, and Elmos. You can make your first grand by waiting in line overnight on the 17th for PS3 and ebaying it. You can make a few hundred more from the others. If you manage to find four presales for PS3 you are well on your way to tripling up to $6000 in ~15 days. That's a decent start as you think of other opportunities.

Actually, I sent in 50 requests (it costs ~81 cents per request and you get at least $1 at best buy) and have 35 back so far. (Contents: tons of common properties, $51 in best buy bucks, and a couple coupons for medium fries)

Think the deadline for requesting was yesterday, though. :-)

wow, that's awesome.

is there a site that says which properties are actually the rare ones? McDonalds says the odds to win per category, but doesn't say which pieces are the rare ones.

I'm especially interested in knowing how there is just one of both the 1 mil prize and 5 mil prize but the 5 mil prize has odds that are much worse (I know ways that this could happen, but don't know exactly how they did it).

Sorry for the hijack.
