$2000 >>>>?!?!?!

Okay so I made a bet with one of my friends that I could turn 2000 into at least 75k in a year without playing poker.

Is there really any options business-wise with such low capital because I'm starting to think I took a bad prop bet.

Depending on how large of a bet this is with your friend you can consider real estate. I don't know the technicalities of the bet but you could get a 0 down loans on a house put 2K into cleaning the place up and get some renters. Depending on your market the house might increase in value by 75K. Otherwise you could sell it in the spring-summer season where the market is almost always hotter than winter. Take this cash you make and try to turn that into 75K.

What kind of odds did you lay you on this bet? You could use Martingale's betting system on other forms of gambling ,if he layed you ridiculus odds (witch I doubt he did).

You took this bet without any plan at all? I am thinking that earning 3750% on your original investment will be tough.

How much was the bet for?

50k is the bet.
We were arguing about who is the better businessman, and I have too much money for my own good and tooka bad bet.

No gambling at all is allowed.

you're going to have to be a genius to pull this off. and given that you took this bet i'm pretty sure you're not a genius.

you could just get a job that pays 75k+ a year?

I dunno. Gamble with options?

You can trade mini corn, wheat, and soybean contracts. Sugar is also an option.

YOWZA! Be sure to post a trip report in a year. I am interested to hear what you end up doing to make a go of it. Actually, it would be cool if you posted monthly trip reports on your progress.

Best of luck.
