[/ QUOTE ] i fold if he shoves... if he bets normal amount i c/shove [/ QUOTE ] I didn't see that hero bet the turn. If hero had checked to river (which I would seriously consider doing to Brad here) a call of a push is mandatory. given that he bet the turn and thus gave brad reason to believe he might have a hand, it's less clear but I sitll think c/calling a shove would be all right. |

i think against brad in particular you should fire the flop to give him a chance to take you off your AA. when you check it tells him youre likely showdown bound or you have no pair so he wont go apeshit with medium pairs. this is a really scary board for KK-AA so id bet here and hope he tries to make a move with TT or JJ. if you dont bet, youre gonna have to pay off a set anyway, and either way itll likely be for stacks or close to it. could be wrong here tho.

I don't think there's any need to go for a check-raise here, just make a "blocking" bet and let him try to move you off of it. I think potting the river would make your hand too transparent, and he's smart enough to know that with his image no one is making huge laydowns to him, so his raise of a pot-sized bet would be most likely for value at that point. A fake blocking bet is def the way to go.
