Re: Fold this river, largish pot
Like u said raise pf. Rest standard. I think a fold is correct against almost all villains at this level. Trying to bluff CR against two players seems a little bit too crazy. He may have made two pair. If u have image-problems, or villain is laggy, I make a crying call.

Re: Fold this river, largish pot
i often pay them off on the river, but the correct move here is clearly:

Re: Fold this river, largish pot
I'm new here and pretty much still learning the basics.
I think I'd fold here. My rather basic thinking would be 7,8,9 on the board and the possiblity of TJ, AJ, A7, A8, A9 or maybe AQ seems too high to me. Also given the SB check-raise in reaction to the 7 I'd be guessing I was in trouble probably facing A7. Having said that I am at the bottom of the learning curve. |

[ QUOTE ] It's a protected pot checkraise from a LPP, so I'd fold. [/ QUOTE ] i don't know if most 0.5-1 players know what a protected pot is so i wouldn't even worry about that, if he is loose and passive you're beat here. the other dooder will still call so you can see his hand anyway. [/ QUOTE ] yeah this is true...what is a protected pot? |

Re: Fold this river, largish pot
[ QUOTE ]
yeah this is true...what is a protected pot? [/ QUOTE ] A pot that it would be very foolish to bluff at. Examples: -There are a lot of players and the chances of someone having a made hand is too high -Someone is all-in and the side-pot is small -Someone has shown a lot of strength and is very likely to want to show his hand down -Some players in the hand are very loose and will call down with almost anything |
