Re: goku vs superman
Anyone voting Superman is so dumb. Superman's main strength is hand-to-hand combat, while Goku is strong at all ranges thx to his ability to teleport and throw projectiles that would obliterate anything and everything.

Re: goku vs superman
lol @ people voting for superman. Superman is the same guy who lost to Doomsday because Doomsday is such a hard hitter.
Goku can blow up a planet with a simple energy blast and he can teleport so Superman wouldn't be able to see him. |

Re: goku vs superman
Goku:
With spiky black hair and his trademark orange/red and blue martial arts gi, Goku is known for his cheerful, energetic personality, love of competition (specifically fighting) and eating. He has remarkable intuition at seeing the good in others in spite of their actions, though his capacity for forgiving his enemies has occasionally been criticized as excessive. In the early Harmony Gold English Dragon Ball dub from the 1980's, he is known as Zero. This was the final transformation Goku achieved in DBZ. Goku was the only character to ever use the form without having fused with another character first. He displayed this form first during the Buu Saga against Majin Buu and admits that he achieved it while training in the afterlife. The form was the strongest transformation available in the DBZ universe but consumed large amounts of Goku's energy, reducing his time on the Earth substantially. Again, the form augmented Goku's current strength, speed and energy levels but to a higher degree than those provided by Super Saiyan 1 or Super Saiyan 2. In this state, his hair strands are clearly defined and his hair increases in length, growing down to his waist, his eyebrows disappear, and his face is leaner, giving him a more serious look. Goku's irises turn green but his pupils remain black. Superman: Superman is born Kal-El on an alien planet (later identified as Krypton) and is rocketed to Earth while still an infant by his scientist father moments before the planet's destruction. The rocket lands on Earth, where he is found by passing motorists who adopt him and give him the name Clark Kent. As Clark reaches maturity, he learns he has superhuman abilities which he resolves to use to help others, fighting anything from petty crime to universal threats. Becoming Earth's champion, the media gives him several nicknames, including "The Man of Steel", "The Man of Tomorrow" and "The Last Son of Krypton". To keep his identity secret when not fighting evil as Superman, Clark lives among humanity as a "mild-mannered" reporter for the Metropolis newspaper The Daily Star (later changed to the Daily Planet). Clark works alongside reporter Lois Lane, with whom he is romantically involved (and married in the mainstream current comics' continuity). Superman's powers also dwindle under the light of a red sun. Recently, some authors have implied that Superman's powers can reach nearly unlimited levels, based on solar energy absorption and withdrawal of mental blocks. In Our Worlds at War, Superman dives into the sun to gain sufficient energy to overpower Brainiac 13, who was imbued with the Imperiex Force. In Superman/Batman, when Kara Zor-El claims to be more powerful than Superman, he tells her that he put personal mental blocks on his powers as he grew up to keep from losing control and causing irreparable damage, blocks that Supergirl does not have. While Supergirl can appear to be stronger, Superman just has greater self-control. In an interview with Joe Casey on Alvaro's ComicBoards, he states that Superman can re-arrange the Solar System and tear a star apart. "I've always seen Superman as this completely over-the-top, fantastic character who has no limits whatsoever," writes Casey. Unencumbered by mental blocks, "Superman is unbeatable." |
