This isn't a huge overriding reason because he's slightly ahead of you (although it is important that you have position on him and will have a better idea of where you stand postflop than he will). The real question is do you know he won't do this with AJ/AT/A9s/KQ/QJs etc

Not standard at all. If the raise came earlier, or I wasn't on the button, I'd consider folding here.

From the button I pretty easily 3-bet this.
