Re: my dog just ate 3 grams of weed...
[ QUOTE ]
Don't take him to the vet! He will be forced to report the OD and your dog will be facing some serious time. [/ QUOTE ] Whatever you do don't tell him it was your weed. Tell him he's been hanging around some hippie dogs recently and they are the culprits... |

Volume/mass ratios are the concern here. [/ QUOTE ] No. The dog weighs 45 pounds and he ate 3 grams. A 180 pound person can eat a fuckton more than 12 grams of weed without dying. |

Re: my dog just ate 3 grams of weed...
On a related note my old roommate's dog , a rottweiller, ate an eighth of shrooms once. He seemed to be enjoying himself. We aren't the only animals that like to get high!

Let him on the couch and give him some TLC. He pobably feels like that guy who's never smoked weed and one day eats an ounce of shrooms.

Good on ya. But the lung capacities for smaller volumes are not linear.
Watch a Pryor film. Moving is a good bet. Stick a mirror under his nose once in awhile |

Probably very little. I don't know. <shrugs> I think in riddles sometimes and don't have a keyboard ban anymore.

Whatever you do, DO NOT PLAY MUSIC around the dog. Trust me. They already normally have 3 or 4 times the hearing of humans, and music when they are high would be too much. Also don't yell at all or make sudden loud noises.. they will freak, my dog (mini schnauzer, maybe 13 pounds or less) took 2 huge hits from a blunt and she was high for a good 8 or 9 hours, which was not intended and a stupid mistake. But she will be genuinely really scared by loud noises, like literally scare the [censored] out of them scared. Just keep a good eye and if the dog seems more and more upset or dispondant, and it looks more serious, take them to the vet immediatly. [/ QUOTE ] actually playing some floyd might chill him our and let him enjoy his trip. |

[/ QUOTE ] Dogs are not people. They have different body chemistries. Chocolate is toxic. Ibuprofin can kill. Once when I went to Australia I stole my 40 pound dog's valium (I hate to fly and he had it for thunderstorms) and it [censored] me up beyond belief, because the dosage was twice what the correct human dosage is (why it didn't occur to me to check this ahead of time, I don't know). |
