AntonioN: what kind of magic did you use
AntonioN: and what made you think i wasn't going to call you with my stack

i just grabbed my old laptop and looked up the hand. my turn bet is actually bad and i should have called you if i was going to make it
that said, fold pf is definitely the play

I don't like preflop.
Checking this flop leaves you with a tough decision if MP leads, you have to decide if he has it.
After checked around, your hand is best and I like the turn play.

What did you have nath? AT would seem kind of logical although I think you may bet that on the flop.

I don't get it. Given this action, how can you put nath on exactly AT? Why not low pocket pairs, AQo etc?

Edit: blah, only read the OP and not the post where nath bet. Still, narrowing it down to AT is way off imo.

It's Nath. He plays the same line if he was dealt a Twinkie and a Bingo card. He probably had some small suited connectors or something and was just taking a stab at the pot because nobody took a stab on the flop and the turn card wasn't a major scare card.

Personally, I would fold preflop and wait for a better spot. Just becuase you are playing against Nath doesn't mean his UTG raise against you OOP is going to be +EV.

I don't mind the flop check for obvious reasons.

On the turn, I think you need to bet out; if UTG reraises, you can call. If MP reraises, you have something to think about.

No offense, but the whole "It's Nath" line is just [censored].

AT is very likely here, and probably more likely than anything else.

I'm pretty sure Nath bets this flop with AT given his stack size. And doesn't he begrudingly call the push on his stack size too, just because there's a fair chance that BB is running this line as a semi-bluff with any 9 on the turn?
