Re: $25NL - Do you not go broke with any of these?
Hand #2 is the only one I think I'd have possibly avoided trouble.
The reraise on the flop would make me think hard about if TPGK was still good enough... Without many outs to improve, I'm behind to AK, 33, 88, KK, and vulnerable to suited hearts. |

[ QUOTE ] No, I don't not go broke with any of these, except for maybe the last one, where I probably go broke as well. [/ QUOTE ] Expand on this? [/ QUOTE ] I agree with him. The signs were there for all the others. I'll try to expand some on my thinking. |

I'm definitely ditching Hand 2 on the flop to the 3-bet.

Re: $25NL - Do you not go broke with any of these?
I can get away on Hand #2 to the flop 3-bet, but I'm going broke on all the others. I don't like your lines, for the most part, but I still go broke. Specifically, I abhor min-raising.

Re: $25NL - Do you not go broke with any of these?
In hand 1- you have to be aware of the shortstack. You can't be raising hands that play well deep, multiway, like JTs or JQs with a shortstack left to act. You are far better raising A8o type hands in this position. If you do raise it, you need to put in a real raise, so when he reraises you can comfortably fold, knowing that he had you beat. Once you see the flop here, it is all over.
Hand 2- Once he puts in the third bet on the flop, TPGK is usually no good. Hand 3- OK, after looking at stacks here, you can't get away. Hand4- I go broke with the idiot end of the straight usually. Action messed up, but whatever, nice hand. I can't put button on KQ preflop with no raise. Actually, putting him on any hand is rough, because wouldn't 99-JJ raise? Hmmm. Q8 wouldn't raise, but might call. OK, I might be able to ditch this on a perfect day. |

Re: $25NL - Do you not go broke with any of these?
Hand 1, I'm out on the flop as I probably wouldn't chase a Quenn high flush draw unless I'd hit in some other way.
Hand 2, I'm out on the flop as I don't like his re-raise. AK, trips, two pair, etc Hands 3 and 4, I join the crowd and go broke. |

Re: $25NL - Do you not go broke with any of these?
*GRUNCH*
Hand 1: I'm either limping behind the early position caller, or making a real preflop raise of $1.25. I fold to a minraise by the Button. As played, I checkraise the flop to fold AKo, but when the [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] hits the turn, its on. Hand 2: I raise the flop to $5, and fold to aggression. Hand 3: I use my position like a hammer and raise preflop to $1.50. Then I play for my stack on the flop. He doesn't have a full buyin, and if he has AQ or 55, well, nice hand, sir. Hand 4: Man, I don't like playing small SCs OOP, but that's a good price. I flopped a straight and my goal is to get it in on the flop. NH. The best advice I can give you is to get your money in using bigger bets. |
