You have to know what you're doing on the turn before deciding what to do on the flop....

A large percentage of his flop-raising hands have more equity than top pair here. Those that don't, will, on average, be very strong draws or pair/draw combos.
Any equity advantage on the flop is minimal but the odds are skewed towards villian's raising hands.

Most of these hands, strong and draw alike, are willing to cap this flop, or call and raise the turn. You have to be pretty sure he won't take a free card with his draws (after capping) or be willing to spend 4sb and 1BB to hold the initiative going into the turn. And even then, the cream of his hands are more than willing to pop you on the turn. Those that didn't have you beat, may have just outdrawn you.

So, can you fold to more aggression, after 3betting the flop???
What is a safe card???

I don't know whether that makes sense. Stoned

a call doesn't commit you to checking the turn.

if you suspect he might raise for a free card, then he may just cap for a free card with the third player still coming along.

or he'll just cap his set.
