6max: TPTK with a coordinated board.
My first week of playing 6max full time has gone great so far. However I was unsure how to play the flop after the flop raise.
BB: Loose calling station Button: Solid TAG PokerStars 0.50/1.00 Hold'em (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) Preflop: James is UTG with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. <font color="#CC3333">James raises</font>, MP calls, Button calls, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, BB calls. Flop: (8.50 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font> BB checks, <font color="#CC3333">James bets</font>, MP folds, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises</font>, BB calls, James??? |

Playing the turn and river is going to be tough, but I think calling the flop raise is your best choice.

Re: 6max: TPTK with a coordinated board.
I'm taking this one to the third floor.
A solid tag could be raising a flush draw, str8 draw, or a top pair hand, looking for a free card. BB juicing the pot makes it better too. What he does after your re raise will help make your decision later on. |

Re: 6max: TPTK with a coordinated board.
I say you really need to 3 bet this to find out where u are. Button didnt 3bet PF so I think that narrows down his possible holdings a bit. BB is a long for the ride and will pad the pot for u for those times you are ahead here. If it gets capped you can always check fold the turn if you dont improve. If button just calls I'd lead the turn no matter what. I'm not a 6max player though.

Re: 6max: TPTK with a coordinated board.
I don't think what he does after we 3-bet is going to tell us much. If this guy is the type to raise a big draw here, like an open-ender with overcards or a flush draw, he's likely willing to cap with it.
Also, if any paint comes off you're basically boned, unless it's a club, in which case your stuck and probably drawing. Either way I wouldn't want to put a bunch of money in on this flop. |

The flush redraw makes me want to 3-bet.

I would 3bet this. Button can be raising here with a FD, QJ/KJ, and I think you're a favorite over what he's raising with here.
