Florida Card Rooms?

That's because poker is the only card game running. When the table games come, poker will take a hit, and the games will toughen up to something resembling poker and not bingo.

This is an easy answer. Make sure your room has an internet connection. Playing brick and mortar poker in Florida is not the greatest thing in the world. It sucks. I played live one time. Florida did change the law and now allows unlimited pots but the 2 dollar max bet law is still in place. Then the pot gets raked 20% at the indian casinos (yea I said indian). Dog tracks may have less rake, but I don't know.

The only way to make any money at poker in Florida is to play in multi table tourneys. These will play like the nickle/dime tables at Stars. Players not very good, but a few will be better than average.

Florida has some great poker action if your into NL S&G's and MTT's. Stakes range from $140 - $2000. The tables are full of tourists and are very beatable.
