As played as long as your image is good I dont mind the 3rd. But more importantly I dont like this 2nd barrel at all. There's simply too many hands that he can easily call it with on this board often forcing you to fire a 3rd to win the pot. JT, NFD, Qx hearts, any K, etc.

[/ QUOTE ]

If hero doesn't bet the turn, then it gives a very easily opportunity for villain to lead the river with any missed draw.

Overall, I like the 3rd barrel because of the flush and JT draw out there.

This is exactly what I was thinking. If any of those draws hit I would not be betting. In this spot I think betting can take the pot down right there more often than not.

This is absolutely true. I think OP should have given up on the hand on the turn. Villain is calling this turn bet a large percentage of the time with a large range.

Right. But if total brick hits the river I am taking this pot down. If he hits he is definitely betting into me and I fold. I like my chances.

your 2nd barrel is bad. if he called that flop he is calling that turn unless he peeled very lightly.

the river, you gotta bet, just to fold out busted hearts or JT.

Betting the turn is improtant, becasue it shows the villan that you are protecting a strong hand, so that way it is an easy 3rd barrel on a blank river, also incase he has a weak king, or aq type of hand, a strong river bet may even push him off one of these, incase he was not drawing.

Not worth it to bluff like this at 200NL ..This looks like he is calling down with AQ or K/10 here trying keep the pot small.

I just dont think this is +ev in the long run ....but ya since you did go for it as played you have to bet the river but i dont like it.

Ok so say I do not bet the turn. I assume I am betting river if a draw doesn't hit? What if he leads a brick river?

Well Villain burned his timer down and ended up calling.

He tabled AA. Different way to play the hand I guess. Never would have thought he had that. This hand helped my image tremendously in this session as I made everything back and more.
