Ok so far from my research this venture is looking very promising. I meet with one of these contacts tomorrow afternoon. He wants to take a look at my Escalade and we are going to talk more specifics and negotiate a price. He imports/exports high-end mercedes, cadillacs, porches. What I'm hoping to find out is that he's perhaps looking for extra money himself to purchase more quantity of vehicles and get them overseas. If this is the case, there may be something lucrative here for the 2p2 community. I'll post an update tomorrow.

I just talked to a guy at work who has imported two porsche turbos from switzerland for personal use to here in Canada. He said you can very easily ship one car yourself, they stick it in a container with three others and it costs between $600-$2000 depending on size and time, ect. So you can do it one car at a time, and it isn't that expensive. As for investors if you get this thing off the ground I'm in.

Here in denmark people go crazy over OLDER american cars.

Im talking anything from 1930s Ford trucks, 70 muscle cars etc.

Im talking anything remotely classic or with a large engine. export to here and ppl will love it.

like... browsing a danish car forum:
EL camino ´73 no wheels, panels. All chromed parts not attached. must be painted. 8000$

or

66 mustang convertible. 33000 $ (yes more than 30 grand)

or
94 mustang GT convertible. modified with 400 hp egine and other items. 58400 $

U figure out if this will get U rich.

Holy [censored]. I just took a gander at the KBB value of that car, without the engine mod, and it's like $5k. Shipping the car and other expenses couldn't put it over $10k. That's quite a markup. I might have found a new hobby. PM me if interested.

Hello everyone,

I'm down with strep throat right now and not on the computer much. I've received over a dozen pm's now from 2p2ers interested in possibly partaking in this venture. I do apologize for the hold up.

The meeting last week went very well. Right now I'm looking into the specific tarrifs with each destination over seas and figuring out some logistics for everyone.

I'll post an update soon.
